2018 Regular Season League Champion comes to Lawrence June 15th

The Kaw Valley FC Cranes and the Des Moines Menace will battle two times in 2019. Since the team’s inaugural 1994 season, the Menace have reached the Premier Development League (renamed USL League Two before the 2019 season) playoffs 16 times, four times advancing to the final four. The Menace’s banner year came in 2005, a season punctuated by a dramatic win over the El Paso Patriots to claim the Premier Development League Championship. Des Moines has also earned three PDL regular-season titles - 2002, 2014 and last season.

June 29 – Des Moines, Iowa – 7:00 P.M

2018 Matches against Kaw Valley FC
June 1st in Lawrence: 2-1 Loss. Des Moines started off the game with a strong lead that had the Cranes down by two goals at the half. Tucker Stephenson brought the Cranes back within a goal with a powerful strike in the second frame but the Menace held on for the victory.

June 23rd in Des Moines: 1-1 Draw. In the only blemish on the Menace's 2018 regular season record, Prichard Sibanda scored an equalizer in the waning seconds to split the points.

June 29th in Des Moines: 1-0 Loss. Des Moines scored a goal early in the first half that proved to be enough in a hard fought match.
